Transferable 20-Years Limited Warranty Against Leak and Defects

Goberco Building Products inc. a legally constituted corporation with its head office at 336, route 138, St-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Province of Quebec, G3A 1G8 (hereinafter referred to as Goberco), warrants during the twenty (20) year warranty period beginning on the purchase date of the above mentioned product (hereinafter referred to as the Product), that such Product is free from any material and manufacturing defects and will conform to Goberco specifications for the product. Goberco warrants that for a period of twenty years after sale, the Product will not leak provided that it is installed in accordance with hereon warnings, instructions, clean of obstruction such as debris and is not subjected to alteration or other treatment. Goberco does not warrant this product for any purpose or use other than the general purpose for which it is intended. Liability under this warranty is limited to the replacement of defective product as purchased. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS ISSUED IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESSED AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF FITNESS, AND EXPRESSLY EXCLUDES LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. 

In purchasing the product, the purchaser accepts the terms and conditions of this warranty, which replaces any other representation, warranty or condition, explicit or implicit, statutory or other. The terms of this warranty are automatically transferable to the subsequent purchaser of the residential or commercial building upon which the product has been installed. Any claim under this warranty by the purchaser or the subsequent owner, as the case may be, must be made in writing within the period covered by the warranty and must include the original invoice for the product. Any resolution between Goberco and the covered person regarding the refund or material replacement constitutes a full settlement and release of all claims relating to this warranty.


1. Always wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses during product installation.
2. Goberco Drain Membrane for Deck should be applied to clean dry surfaces when temperatures are a  minimum of 40°F or warmer.
3. Let the membrane fully expand to site conditions temperature prior to attach to deck structure  using staples or nails.
4. Goberco Drain Membrane for Deck is designed to be covered by deck boards (wood or wood/plastic) and  should not be exposed to direct sunlight for more than 30 days.
5. Although Goberco Drain Membrane for deck is very slippery so extreme caution should be taken to avoid  walking on Drain Membrane for Deck during installation.
6. Installed Goberco Drain Membrane for Deck on sloped joist, such sloped must be between 1% (1/8’’ x foot) and  2% (1/4’’ x foot) see International Code Council link:  http://publicecodes.cyberregs.com/icod/ispsc/2012/icod_ispsc_2012_3_sec006.htm
7. Always check with your local building inspector to make certain that any deck you  build meet code requirements.
8. Keep membrane free of debris or anything which could reduce water evacuation through holes  to prevent water accumulation and extra load on deck.
